About Me
I'm a doctoral researcher based in Glasgow, Scotland 🏴, originally from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰.
After completing my first degree in mechanical engineering, I moved to Scotland to pursue a PhD. My research has taken quite a different direction, I now work in an interdisciplinary field exploring the psychological and behavioural factors that affect indoor exposure, and developing effective behavioural interventions. This work spans psychology, building science, computer science, systems engineering, behavioural science, and more.
Alongside my research, I work part-time and freelance on instructional design projects, learning management systems (LMS), web development, and various other tech-related work. I genuinely enjoy these smaller projects - they're opportunities to practise what I love.
I also spend time travelling and doing photography, mostly around Glasgow where I live now, and Colombo where I'm from. I'm keen on outdoor activities and cycling too, particularly during the summer.
You'll find many different sides of me on this site. Please connect with me on LinkedIn or through email if you'd like to get in touch.
