UniPrep at Curtin Colombo
“UniPrep is the ultimate preparation program for students who are about to embark on their journey towards higher education. As the transition from secondary school or vocational studies to university can be daunting, we designed this course to help students join degree programs with less stress. Our program has been designed specifically to bridge the gap between the students’ current education and the Curtin University degree program that they are eagerly waiting to start.”
Anyone willing to start a Curtin University degree program, after completing advanced level or an accepted foundation program.
The UniPrep program runs for 12–14 weeks, 3–4 days a week.

Our curriculum covers a broad range of topics, including study skills, soft skills, and subject knowledge in areas such as Business, Computing and Engineering. Our experienced faculty members will help them deepen their understanding of these topics, preparing them for the challenges that lie ahead.”
Fundamentals of Mathematics
It focuses on areas in mathematics that students often find difficult to grasp during their first year of study. By covering essential topics and providing clear explanations, this course aims to help students build a solid foundation in mathematics, allowing them to easily adjust to advanced mathematical applications as they proceed with their degree.
Communication and Language Skills
With a focus on improving language proficiency and accuracy, students will be able to communicate effectively in both academic and professional settings, resulting in improved opportunities for success in their chosen field.
Computing Skills
Through this course, students will have the opportunity to improve their skills in various computer applications and tools that can make their university lives easier. By developing their programming skills and gaining practical experience with different computer applications, students will be better equipped to tackle complex problems and find innovative solutions.
Critical Thinking and Soft Skills
This course is designed to equip students with important skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the 21st century professional world. Students will learn problem-solving, creativity and innovation, technical literacy, and gain a comprehensive understanding of social and ethical responsibilities.
